Kate has always had an interest in community involvement, inspired by her uncle, who served as a parish councillor in his area for many years. Now that her children are grown and starting families of their own, Kate feels it’s the perfect time to step up and contribute to her local area.

Kate moved to Milton Keynes with her family at the age of 12 and vividly remembers the advertisements encouraging people to live in the new town. She has, in many ways, grown up alongside the city and has watched it develop over the years. Since settling in Crownhill in 2001, she has raised three boys here, who all attended local schools. Working locally as well, she’s always had a strong connection to Milton Keynes.

Kate loves the green spaces and vibrant culture that Milton Keynes offers. As a dog owner, she especially appreciates the efforts of The Parks Trust in providing and maintaining the beautiful parks in the area. With so many activities and attractions, she believes Milton Keynes is a wonderful place to live, especially with its thriving theatre scene.

Kate is excited about the opportunity to represent and engage with the residents of Crownhill and looks forward to getting involved in helping to shape the area.
