Summer Activities 

During the Summer Holidays in July and August we host Summer Fun at Medbourne Pavilion and other activities across the Parish. 
There are lots of different activities available over the week, both inside and outside, suitable for all ages including sports, crafts and open play activities.

Booking and paying for a place on our activities 

Unless the session is open access we are asking for a fee of £2 per person taking part, per session, this does not include any adults or children attending that are not taking part in the activity. 
These fees help us raise money for our charity of the year. 
 
Priority for places will be given to those who live within the Parish and you will only be able to book for one household.

The Milton Keynes Play Association(MKPA) and Basketball activities are open access and do not need to be booked.  
 
To pay for a place and confirm your booking please use the reference and go to the page given to you at the time of booking.  
If payment is not made your booking will not be confirmed and there will not be a place available to you on the day. We will not be accepting cash payments.

What's on in 2021 

Frontier Activities Archery + Circus skills 

Medbourne Pavilion Sports Fields 
Wednesday 18 August 
Sessions runs between 1.30pm - 2.30pm & 3.00pm - 4.00pm 
Suggested age 8+ 
 
Frontier Activities aim to teach people of all abilities and ages different target sports which include Axe throwing, Knife throwing, Archery and Air Rifle.  
Their ethos is based around wanting to pass on to others how much they enjoy all the sports they teach. 
 
They will be bringing us their fantastic archery activities, and also running some circus skills to try out!

Teaching Talons 

Medbourne Pavilion Sports Fields 
Friday 30 July 
Sessions at 1.30pm(FULL) & 2.45pm 
Suggested age 4+ 
 
Teaching Talons are a family run educational animal encounter company and will be doing a demonstration and informational session that will last around 40 mins, with time afterwards for questions. They will be bringing along small animals and reptiles.

Nkiru Arts African Drumming 

Medbourne Pavilion Sports Fields 
Tuesday 10 August  
Sessions at 1.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm 
 
Thursday 12 August 
Sessions at 10am, 11am & 12noon 
 
Nkiru Arts are a group that explore African Arts through African Drumming. Their drumming sessions appeal to both adults and children. The sessions will include a short demonstration, followed by opportunities to learn some simple rhythm and “have a go”

Milton Keynes Baskeball Club Coaching 

Crownhill Sports Fields 
Tuesdays 3, 10, 17, 24 August 
10.00am – 11.30pm Under 14s 
11.30am – 1.00pm Over 14s 
 
The MKBC philosophy is “Basketball For All” – they offer boys & girls the opportunity to get fit, develop basketball skills, make new friends, and to play in a team environment, all under the supervision of B.E. qualified Coaches. 
 
They will be offering coaching every Tuesday in August for ages 10-14 and 15-18, both boys and girls are welcome. 
 
Open Access - No need to book! 

RSPB Crafting and activities 

Medbourne Pavilion Sports Fields 
Thursday 5 August 
11.30am - 1.30pm 
 
The local North Bucks RSPB Group will be visiting the sports field at Medbourne Pavilion where they will have an information stand as well as nature craft activities such as making dragonflies, bug hibernators, fat ball feeders and tree decorations. 
The whole family can enjoy exploring in the surrounding Shenley Woods and finding trees to hang your handmade tree decorations onto. 
 
No booking fee - donations can be made on the day directly to the RSPB.
