Planning and Development

Milton Keynes Council is the authority responsible for planning applications in the local area, and everyone can view applications and decisions on the Public Access System in the planning portal.
The Parish Council is consulted by the relevant Planning Authority (usually Milton Keynes Council) on all planning applications made within the Parish area.
Views expressed by the Parish Council will be taken into account by the Planning Authority before a decision is made, providing the comments made are relevant to planning guidelines.

Commenting on planning applications

Whilst we are happy to hear from local residents about their views on planning applications, the Parish Council is not the planning authority and we do not have the power to decide planning applications.

If you want to object to an application it is very important that you contact the MKC planning department.

You can view planning applications and register comments through MKC's planning portal:

Oakhill Play Area Proposal

Residents have contacted both Milton Keynes Council and the Parish Council to see if it is possible to have a play area in Oakhill. Following discussions, MKC has identified a site that has sufficient space to accommodate the play area and created a proposed plan.

A consultation form has been delivered to residents of Oakhill and we would be keen to get feedback from local residents on the proposal. You can also see the proposed plan and consultation below.

We will not put forward any verbal comments, so please take the time to convey your thoughts using the form or by emailing
Clerk@shenleychurchend-pc.co.uk.

The closing date for comments is Friday 12 March.
