Planning and Development
Milton Keynes Council is the authority responsible for planning applications in the local area, and everyone can view applications and decisions on the Public Access System in the planning portal.
The Parish Council is consulted by the relevant Planning Authority (usually Milton Keynes Council) on all planning applications made within the Parish area.
Views expressed by the Parish Council will be taken into account by the Planning Authority before a decision is made, providing the comments made are relevant to planning guidelines.
Commenting on planning applications
Whilst we are happy to hear from local residents about their views on planning applications, the Parish Council is not the planning authority and we do not have the power to decide planning applications.
If you want to object to an application it is very important that you contact the MKC planning department.
