Parish Defibrillators

We now have a total of five defibrillator across the parish as this year the parish council funded four new external defibrillators. Three were installed in Oxley Park, Medbourne and Crownhill in August and the fourth was installed in Shenley Church End at the start of October 2021.

We’d like to say a big Thank You to Niftylift Worldwide for covering the electrical installation costs at Oxley Park Community Centre and Medbourne Pavilion and to InspireAll for covering the installation costs and agreeing to have a defibrillator on the Crownhill Meeting Place.

Another huge Thank You goes to Shenley Leisure Centre, who stepped in after Sainsburys withdrew their offer to have one on their building. Our final Thank You has to go to our electricians Kent Electrical who fitted the sockets at Oxley, Medbourne and Shenley and returned on the days the defibrillators were delivered to wire everything in.

Anyone calling for an ambulance and needing a defibrillator would be given the location of their nearest and the relevant code to access the cabinet.
